I haven't posted here in forever

happy new years, lovely people. today i went to sawtelle kitchen and tried a new delightful tea. i think it was called deejung..it's actually not all that exotic, but it was for me....because it was new... :).... And then we sauntered to Giant Robot 2 and i bought swan shirt and quilted clutch. it was altogether pretty yummy.

ciao.... slip some alcohol in your tea for new years? no? not so much? juuust an idea

Love and peace and happiness

I really have a great attraction toward the yogi green tea. All of them are really good, but my favorite is the Energy kind.

it has a hint of mint flavor in it.

the store I work at has a huge shelf with every kind of tea ever. All the old people buy the kind that gives you diarhea.

hullo, loves! what is the weather like where you are right now? the weather here is extremely lovely. foggy and all and perfect for tea with milk and sugar. which I've been having almost every day now.
fall is my favouritest season....although I love winter too because an excuse to have the fireplace working. and I love the fire from the fireplace.

tell me what kinds of teas you've been enjoying and what you've all been doing :]

they curtsey in the meadow grass [07 Aug 2004|11:44am]

while looking through my old childhood books.. I stumbled upon one of my favourites. A treasury of flower fairies by Cicely Mary Barker. I remember turning the pages when I was a runt, and hoping to land on the prettiest fairy.

The Scabious Fairy reminded me of this community... :)

The Song of the Scabious Fairy
Like frilly cushions full of pins
For tiny dames and and fairykinds;

Or else like dancers decked with gems,
My flowers sway on slender stems.

They curtsey in the meadow grass,
And nod to butterflies who they pass.

go there for more lovely fairy prints!

old photographs [27 Jul 2004|01:05am]

As I searched for images to use as icons, I came across several photographs of people taking tea, which you may enjoy. My favorites are the ones of the little girls with their dolls (I'm the mother of a five year-old very girly girl, so it figures)...
